The first post (again)

I first started this blog in 2015, and was relatively regulary posting until 2017. Work got a little bit crazy after that and I ended up ignoring the blog for quite some time. I’ve wanted to come back and post a few times, only…

…well, I made a mistake. I was moving hosting and I “lost” the website. (How do you lose a website?)

Anyway, I’ve finally decided to get it back online – although it’ll be a slightly different approach for the forseeable future.

I’ve always had a strong passion for smoking meat (I wonder where I got the website name from?) and BBQing in general. There’s so much that goes into producing the perfect food via a BBQ, I thought I’d show you my results – good and bad, and give a general rating for how things have turned out (plus what I did/what to do, or in many cases, what I did/what NOT to do….)

So, fingers crossed I don’t get distracted and forget to post for another 5 years and/or “lose” this website… ha. In the meantime, have a picture of my latest brisket (a full, detailed post will be coming soon where I’ll give many more pics!)
